Vietnam is one of the main bub for transit cargo from other countries to Cambodia. Transporting goods Vietnam-Cambodia has been promoted in recent years due to large investments from industrial and business groups and well-invested infrastructure in Cambodia.
However, the shipping industry in Cambodia is still underdeveloped, low capacity seaport built so the most important method for import/export in Cambodia’s logistics chain is transit by road and via the Vietnam border.
With the above factors, since 2015 – Alphatratrans has invested in trucks and Built customs clearance offices at the Border for customs clearance services and transport to Cambodia. We handle multimodal transport, transit, or cross border at all Cambodia-Vietnam border gates.

EXPORT FROM VIETNAM TO CAMBODIA BY SEA AND ROAD
- Handle Ocean freight from Vietnam port to Phnom Penh port, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) by FCL or LCL
- Handle by Road from Vietnam to all provinces to Cambodia by FCL or LCL
- We handle all terms: EXW, FOB, DAP, DDP…
- We handle customs clearance for both import/export, trucking to door, or to border only.

LUMBSUM SERVICE (DDP TERM WITHOUT CUSTOMS DECLARATION) VIETNAM -CAMBODIA
This is the term such as DDP, It means that you just give us volume, and dimension, we will calculate the cost in 1 minute. No need to handle customs on both sides, No document was given to us.
This is convenient for LCL cargo, low-value commodities, and no need for customs clearance documents.
For this kind of delivery: Daily ship with 2 times per day. At 12 pm, and 5 pm.

GENERAL PROCEDURES WITH VIETNAM - CAMBODIA TRANSIT PROCEDURE
TRANSIT Via HCM port: From Cambodia to Vietnam to export to countries
Step 1: Book from shipping lines.
Step 2: Pick up the empty container (for FCL) and move it to the customer’s warehouse to stuff the goods.
Step 3: Carry out export procedures at the border gate in Cambodia (Bavet..)
Step 4: Open an independent transport declaration at the Cambodia-Vietnam border gate (Moc Bai…)
Step 5: Conduct inspection at the border gate, seal (with FCL cargo), and stamp (with LCL cargo).
Step 6: Transport goods from the first import border gate (Moc Bai..) to the last export border gate (Cat Lai/Cai Mep)
Step 7: Liquidate the OLA declaration at Cat Lai/Cai Mep port.
TRANSIT from countries around the world TO Vietnam and DELIVERY by road to Cambodia
Step 1: Receive the shipping docs (B/L, PL)…
Step 2: Open OLA independent shipping declaration at Cat Lai/Cai Mep import port.
Step 3: Check and seal the shipment (seal with FCL cargo and seal with LCL cargo)
Step 4: Make a shipping list, transshipment of goods to Moc Bai to liquidate the declaration.
Step 5: Transport the goods to the customer’s warehouse in Cambodia.
Goods are transported by air from countries around the world, transited in Vietnam, and transported by road to Cambodia
Step 1: Receive the shipping docs (MAWB, PL)…
Step 2: Open the OLA independent shipping declaration at TSN airport
Step 3: Check and seal the shipment
Step 4: Make a list of transportation and transshipment of goods to the Vietnam-Cambodia border gate (Moc Bai ..) to liquidate the declaration.
Step 5: Transport the goods to the customer’s warehouse in Cambodia.
Goods are transported by air from countries around the world, transited in Vietnam, and transported by road to Cambodia
Step 1: Make a booking from the airline.
Step 2: Vehicles transport goods from the warehouse of the owner of the goods (Cambodia) to the Cambodia – Vietnam border gate.
Step 3: Open the export declaration at the beginning of Cambodia.
Step 4: Open the OLA independent transport declaration at the border gate of Vietnam.
Step 5: Check the shipment and put the seal on it.
Step 6: Transporting goods from the import border gate to the airport.
Step 7: Weigh the goods, stamp-mark shipping lines.
Step 8: Liquidate the transit declaration.

HANDLING PROCESS AND TIME
- From Cambodia, transited in the territory of Vietnam and exported by sea / by air to countries around the world: 1-2 working days from the date of emptying and packing.
- From other countries transited in the territory of Vietnam and delivered by road to Cambodia: 3-5 working days from the date of arrival (ETA) at the port. Cat Lai/ Cai Mep/ TSN airport.
